Paul Pintilie

Paul Pintilie is a composer, pianist, and university lecturer whose musical formation began with piano studies in early childhood. 

Active both as a performer and educator, his work spans a broad spectrum: solo, chamber, and symphonic works, including Missa Harmonis (for choir, orchestra, and jazz combo), Aproape de Soare – Concerto for Orchestra, and Mustața lui Dali și alte culori for chamber orchestra, as well as music for theatre, film, jazz, and pop. In 2025, his compositional work expanded internationally through his involvement in The Hills of Change – A Transcultural Symphony, a Romanian–Norwegian co-production.
